How We Work
Quiet Down There (QDT) is a Community Interest Company that specialises in amplifying the everyday. We believe that culture is everywhere and everyone creates culture in their own way. We strive to create and support environments where individuals, artists, communities and organisations can articulate and develop their own culture - making the invisible visible.
We work with cultural providers, artists, communities and social systems.
QDT has three distinct programmes:
Open to arts organisations, venues, local authorities and anyone interested in developing their audiences and participatory practice. We have a menu of inventions that illustrate the different ways we can work with artists, communities, producers, commissioners and non-arts agencies.
A delivery programme which comprises of projects we have created, developed and delivered in the communities we live in.
Good Practice Programme
Aims to get some interesting conversations started with peers, partners and communities and put the results and the learning in one place so it that can be used widely.
Quiet Down There is funded by Arts Council England.
