Hijack 2016 was a sell out festival for children under 11 in Brighton that will return in October 2017. Hijack now has over 1000 twitter followers.

About: Hijack Children's Festival took place between 22-26 October 2016.  With children and their families at its heart, Hijack inspires, challenges and surprises audiences through a range of unique, cultural experiences. Programmed and produced by Emily Coleman and Quiet Down There, Hijack 2016 took place at Komedia (Brighton) during the half term holidays. Events included a Jungle rave, theatre shows, messy play, live music and live art, made possible through collaborations with Junior Jungle, Troupe, Playpod, Sing Your Tiny Socks Off and the Live Art Development Agency (LADA).

Project Story: Hijack was formally Brighton & Hove Children's Festival and in 2013 became Hijack as part of Komedia's regular children's programme.  Hijack is a multi-artform festival that commissions and presents work which is unique, challenging and exciting. Hijack is a sister event to the Sundae Club which runs at Komedia in Brighton every month through the winter.
